Delafield
Delafield is a charming town along the Bark River, close to Lapham Peak state park, which has arguably the best hiking views in Waukesha County. The town boasts traditional colonial style single-family homes and new build condos downtown. It's known for its military academy and boutique Delafield Hotel. Downtown is a popular destination for great restaurants, cute shops, and upscale dining.

nagawicka
Nagawicka Lake is the perfect place for you and your family to visit - and don't forget your dog! The lake has a public access boat launch for carry-ons and trailers, as well as a public park, so all can enjoy its beach and waters. Take a hike around Naga-Waukee Park and then cool off with a picnic alongside the lake.
Lower nashotah
Nashotah is a name derived from a Native American language meaning "twins" - which helps explain the twin lakes of Upper and Lower Nashotah.
nemahbin
Upper and Lower Nemahbin are 2 small lakes connected to each other and to Lower Nashotah Lake. A boat launch off Delafield road allows you to launch and travel to any of the three lakes. There's another walk/carry-in access point on Lower Nemahbin off Sugar Island Road.
On these lakes you'll find fisherman looking for walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass or panfish.
Only Lower Nashotah has a boat landing, which is just as well because many say this lake is the better of the two for fishing.

Hartland is best described as a quiet, quaint village with a down-to-earth environment for raising kids. Everybody will know your name as you bring the family to Nixon Park for its splash pads, or head out to the walking trails. The village has a very historic downtown which has grown from farm fields to traditional style homes, to new subdivisions. Hartland is known for its connection to Arrowhead High School.

If you want calm, aqua waters for kayaking or paddle boarding, Beaver Lake is the obvious choice. For visitors, there's carry-in only access off of HWY 83. You'll find most people slowly paddling around, enjoying the spring-fed water and sandy bottom. You can fish as well, but the lake is not known for its plentiful fish!
Although Pine Lake maintains a very private and luxurious feel- there is a public boat launch so all can enjoy its waters. There is also a yacht club that offers sailing, social events, and access to a private island on the lake.
Moose Lake is a small lake situated between Okauchee, Pine and North Lake. As such, it is a secret oasis of sorts. There is a public boat landing and a club for those who enjoy 'silent' sports on the lake, such as swimming, fishing, sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, scuba diving, and canoeing.

Lac la Belle has great public access features for visitors, and is one of the biggest lakes in Lake Country. And the fish are just as big...as a trophy lake, only very large fish are kept here. The lake has 2 great beaches to enjoy: Bender Beach and City Beach. City Beach is in downtown Oconomowoc and also hosts the boat launch for the lake. On the beach, you can fish, play on the playground, have a picnic, and of course- swim!
Fowler
Fowler Lake sits just beside Lac la Belle. And while it's the smaller of the 2 lakes, it offers the same great amenities of public parks, a boat launch, and walkable lakeside paths. Check out Fowler Lake Park for lakeside activities.
okauchee
Okauchee is an excellent lake for those who love boating and activities. The lake is big enough for all to enjoy and even has 2 public boat landings. It is known for its annual tie-up event and unique channels. If you don't have a boat, you can still enjoy the charm of the lake by eating at one of its many lakeside restaurants and bars.
